This notice explains what UK Train Info stores in your browser and what information is sent when you use the site.
Information stored in your browser
The site uses browser local storage for your convenience. This can include:
- Saved stations and saved routes.
- Recent station and route queries.
- A short-lived cache of the station directory.
- Your light or dark theme preference.
This information remains on your device and can be removed through your browser settings. The site does not require an account.
Information sent to the service
When you search for departures, request service details, check TfL status, or run route punctuality analysis, the relevant station codes, route selections, and service identifiers are sent to the UK Train Info backend so it can retrieve the requested data.
The application does not ask you to submit your name, email address, or other profile information.
Operational logs and third parties
The hosting service may record normal technical request information, such as timestamps, IP addresses, user agents, and requested paths, in server or security logs. Retention of those logs depends on the hosting configuration.
The application does not currently include advertising, third-party analytics scripts, or application cookies. Links to the Rail Delivery Group and TfL take you to their own websites, which have their own privacy practices.

This page describes the current behaviour of UK Train Info and may be updated if the site’s features, data providers, or hosting arrangements change.
